How to export an SSL Certificate
Logon to the server and open a Microsoft Management Console
2. Once the console is open select File > Add/Remove Snap-in
3. Next select Certificates > Add then Select Computer account
Click Next, ensure Local Computer is selected the click Finish, then click OK
Expand Personal, expand certificate and in the main pain right click on the certificate you wish to export, select All Tasks and Export
This will open the Welcome to the Certificate Export Wizard, click Next and select Yes, export the private key then click Next
Ensure Include all certificates in the certification path if possible and Export all extended properties is selected and click Next
click password and assign a password you can easily remember E.G. (1234) then click Next
Next click on browse and select a location to save the certificate and give it a name
Then click Save
click Next
Click Finish, then copy the exported Certificate to your local desktop and login to the BDC Azure Portal
Once logged into the Azure portal, select the desired Windows Application Firewall (waftest or waf)
Once selected Select Listeners under settings
After selecting Listeners select the URL you are going to renew the certificate on
After selecting the desired URL under Choose a certificate select Create new, ensure Upload a certificate is selected, under PFX certificate file click on the blue button to upload your certificate, give the certificate a unique name, insert the password you gave the certificate and click Save
After it has saved browse to the site to ensure it is loading and using the newly installed certificate
Once the site is loaded click on the padlock next to the URL
click on Connection is secure
Click on Certificate is valid to view the Certificate
