MM5.7 Approval workflow

Approval workflow exists to support the first steps in the asset lifecycle in terms of automation and coordination of tasks between the users. What is described in this section is the most typical use case for this kind of workflow, where a new asset appears in the system, the relevant metadata fields are filled out according to specifications and then the asset is either approved or rejected for publication.
Note
This is just an example of a correctly configured approval workflow. There are many building blocks available for both workflows and automations to best accommodate the needs of our users.
The description of the use case is divided into two sections.
MM5.7 Setting up approval workflow is intended for an administrative user who is responsible for setting up the workflow and related automations.
MM5.7 Working with approval workflow is intended for everyday users involved in the workflow to understand the flow of the tasks.
