9 Value Field

A value field represents a single property in the search response. 

A value field can be created by selecting the Output tab and clicking on the "Add" button: 

In the window, which pops up, there are three tabs:  Metadata field, Table and column, and Predefined. The absolute minimum required to create a value field is much less than a Filter:

• The data, which the value field ouputs.
• The ID.

If a predefined value field is needed, then usually all that is needed to create the value field is an ID. Though sometimes the predefined value field has some Predetermined values, which MUST be supplied before the user can create the predefined value field.
