The Exporter is an application designed for exporting assets (images, documents, videos, etc) and their meta data (title, keywords, description, etc) from a DAM Center. 

The Exporter exports assets and their meta data to a folder on your computer.

The meta data can be exported as one XML file per asset or one big Excel sheet for all the exported assets.

In order to export meta data and assets, you must perform three steps:

  1. Ensure that you have a search, which retrieves the data, you want to export (see DC5.0.0 Installation and DC5.0.0 Export configuration and output examples)
  2. Configure the Exporter.exe application (see DC5.0.0 Application configuration)
  3. Run the Exporter.exe application.
