DC 5.10 Automation status

The user can access the overview of the running jobs related to the automations. The overview can be accessed by clicking ‘Settings’ → ‘Automation’ and navigating to the tab ‘Status'.

Overview

The automation-related jobs performed by the system are presented in the list view. The following information is available as columns:

  • Workflow name

  • Status

  • Started by (user)

  • Started (time)

  • Finished

  • Actions

Upon clicking on a job, more information will open below with the entire automation the job belongs to, with the part performed in job highlighted. The elements of the highlighted fragment have the current job status displayed.

Each automation step in the highlighted area also has logs available to be displayed. Clicking on ‘Logs’ will display a list of available logs and clicking one of the option will take the user to ‘Logs’ area, where more detailed information about the job are displayed.

Actions

Each automation job has several options available, accessible upon clicking ‘More’ on the far right side of the line.

These options are:

  • Edit Workflow. This action item takes the user to the automation editor, where the entire automation can be modified.

  • Logs. This action item takes the user to the ‘Logs’ area with the logs for the specified job displayed.

  • Details. This action item displays the automation the specified job is a part of, with the part performed in job highlighted.

  • Retry. This action item allows the user to retry an errored job.

  • Delete. This action item allows the user to delete a job.

Additionally, the user can retry all failed jobs and delete all failed jobs by clicking the corresponding buttons at the bottom of the page.

Filters

From the left side of the status page, the user can narrow down the results by using the filter panel.

The following filters are available for automation jobs:

  • Workflow. This option allows the user to view only the jobs related to a specified automation.

  • Status. This option allows the user to view only the jobs with a specified status: waiting, running, done, errored, skipped or cancelled.

  • Asset. This option allows the user to view only the jobs that involve a specified asset.

  • Users. This option allows the user to view only the jobs started by a specified user.

  • User groups. This option allows the user to view only the jobs started by a specified user group.
