Metadata audit trail is the track record of all metadata changes performed by users or the system. It is fully configurable which fields to audit and can be anything from title to upload date.
The audit trail can be accessed:
in the main view: by selecting ‘More' on an asset card and then selecting 'Audit trail', which will re-direct the user to an 'Audit logs’ view
in asset preview mode: by clicking the button ‘Audit trail’, which will render audit logs in the sliding panel on the right
Configuration
What metadata are subject to audit is fully configurable from ‘System tools’ in the DAM administration view. Navigate to ‘Metadata’, find the field you wish to include in the audit trail and put a checkmark under ‘Audit this field’. This is illustrated below:
