DAM for Optimizely comes with an administration tool located at Admin → Digizuite.

The purpose of this tool is to help administrators and developers with some useful functionality.

It contains the following features:

  1. See which version of the module is installed. We extract the product version from the binaries.

  2. A helper tool for clearing cached data of an asset. This tool comes in handy if you are an developer testing locally and do not have setup https://digizuite.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DD/pages/3090351180 which will keep the data in DAM for Episerver updated automatically. This tool can clear data stored in Optimizely, which means that next time the asset is requested, data will be fetched from the Digizuite DAM. For example, if the metadata has been changed or the asset's source file has been replaced.

     

  3. A helper tool for clearing stored data for all assets. This is especially useful if you are switching between Digizuite DAM instances. During this, it's a good idea to clear all data before starting to use the new Digizuite DAM instance.
