DFO 3.0.0 - 11 Multilingual Asset Metadata

Optimizely has the capability to create content in various languages. When specific languages are activated, users will be able to change sites in the chosen language. The supported language for the project can be seen in the left side navigation pane, under the Sites tab. If other languages are needed to be added, they can be Enabled under Admin → Config → Manage Website Languages.

 

Based on the chosen language (in the navigation pane, under the Sites tab), the Digizuite DAM will retrieve the asset metadata for that specific language, if the language in question has been added in the DAM. In case the chosen language in Optimizely hasn’t been added in the DAM, the default language will be English. The languages that are added to the DAM can be located under System Tools → Language.

Depending on the number of languages that are added in the DAM, every asset can change their metadata based on the language. The picture below shows an example of an asset’s metadata for specific language.
