CCC - Things to be aware of when updating and installing

You need to install "CCC Backend 2.0.0 (48)" in addition to the new plugin. (See the entry for the backend files in the table below - as there are also things here that you need to take into account)

You need to manually set the "Portal Menu" in config manager for folders to work.

(Rare) Some may expeirence that their connector will not load - meaning that you won't even be able to see any white Digizuite GUI. To fix this, uninstall the connector, and install it again.

DAM-2939 - Getting issue details... STATUS  Uploading INDD files to the DC, will result in the DC marking the INDD conversion job to be failed the first job iteration. For the CCC user's perspective, it just looks like the the job takes a long time (normal job time + 2 minutes)

DAM-2923 - Getting issue details... STATUS  Uploading INDD files, will about 50 % of the time result in the thumbnail saying "Missing thumbnail". This is a DAM Center issue, that will be fixed for 4.11.0.

DAM-2939 - Getting issue details... STATUS  DAM issue that carries over to CCC: Replacing assets via the DC, could, for the inexperienced user, result in the asset being unpublished and have all its data removed. Pr. default from DC 4.11.0, the default has been changed, meaning that inexperienced users will not remove all metadata by default (This is a crude explanation)

CCC-182 - Getting issue details... STATUS  Thumbnails for AI and transparent files will have black (and sometimes green) backgrounds where transparency usually should be

(There will not be an issue for this) Changing backend DAM Centers is still unsupported, and requires that you restart your Adobe program.

(There will not be an issue for this) In the config manager, multi-combos are utilized for selecting low and high-res formats. These will not be changed to single-combos. This is to accommodate for future additions, and enabling the connector to be flexible from the configuration.

Due to a bunch of issues with the 1.0.12 implementation, it's not recommended to install this version - especially not on customer's systems, as they will encounter annoying issues.

If you have installed scripts from a pre 29 version, please run the 29 scripts or newer. If this isn't done, DAM Centers that started out as either version 4.9.0, 4.9.1, and possibly 4.8.0 will not work upon logging into the DACCC (cannot access content through the DACCC module).
