3 Configure the metadata editor - DAM v4.7.0

As mentioned previously, not all the metadata tabs are relevant for your solution or assets, or you need to add relevant custom fields. For this, further configuration will be needed.

To configure the metadata editor you need to collapse System tools menu and follow the path: Metadata → Digizuite™ DAM Center → Asset →  Shared and select All asset types.

Once selected, the middle panel will display all the metadata fields from the All asset types tab.


To disable the unwanted metadata tabs, select the item from the list that is the Type of Metagroup and configure it in the right panel.

Note: All the default system's metadata is represented by a 5 digit ID. For example for the Rating metagroup, the ID is 10061. The custom metadata will start from a 1 digit number and may increase.
