During this release, the main focus on improving the overall performance, but also introduce new features that will enhance the customers' experience with Media Manager. Some of the worth mentioning functionalities are:

  • You can add multiple e-mail addresses at a time when sharing a collection
  • New view for embedding a video where you can choose multiple sizes and qualities
  • When dragging and dropping, the whole window will act as an "uploader"
  • New notification view
  • New enhanced splash screen
  • UNC as a default value in web.config

Multiple e-mail addresses

How to access/use the new implementation?

  • Select an asset / multiple asset / a collection
  • Press on Share
  • Select File(s) 
  • Choose Package or any option that will bring you to the screen where you have to insert an email address

How the new implementation works?

You can insert multiple email addresses using the semicolon ( ; ) sign.

New embedding video view

How to access/use the new implementation?

  • Select a video
  • Press on Share
  • Select Embed video
  • Press on Show options

You can now select:

  • Size - the size of the video player
  • Quality - the quality of the video
  • Autostart - if the video should start playing automatically or not
  • Copy- to copy the generated embed code

How the new implementation works?

When you are done with selecting the desired configuration, copy the generated embed code and paste in the place where is needed. The video player should now be visible on the website where it was embedded.

How to configure the new implementation?

All the sizes and qualities are generated out-of-the-box.

How to access/use the new implementation?

In order to access the new way of uploading, you need to make sure that you are logged in and you have navigated to the Upload section.

How the new implementation works?

In order to upload, you can drag & drop one or several assets into the Upload section.

Previously, the upload was activated only if you drop the assets in the following area:

Now, the upload gets activated if you drop the assets in the following area:

Note: Due to the encountered performance issues, the upload has been limited to max 10 assets at a time.

New notification view

How to access/use the new implementation?

The notifications are meant to inform when a specific action has been completed. You can get a notification for the following actions:

  • Download a collection

  • Add asset to collection from collection list and from asset list (drag and drop)


  • Add assets to collection from share popup

  • Upload asset

  • Replace asset

  • Cookie notification

When any of the above activities are initiated, when completed, you will get a notification.

New enhanced splash screen

How to access/use the new implementation?

  • Login to Media Manager
  • Navigate to Settings

How the new implementation works?

When navigating to the Settings area, you have the following options to configure the splashscreen:

  • Choose image or video from Media Manager - select an image / video from Media Manager to be set as a splashscreen
  • Choose image or video from device - upload a new image / video from the device to be set as a splashscreen
  • Select language to edit - select the language for which you want to edit the info badge
  • Headline - insert the headline desired for the info badge
  • Content - insert the content desired for the info badge
  • Choose splashscreen color - select the color desired for the info badge

UNC a default value in web.config

How to access/use the new implementation?

When you install Media Manager, the UNC section is already added inside the web.config.
