DFE 2.3.0 - 6 Setup Digizuite DAM
Follow these steps to prepare the Digizuite DAM for the DAM for Episerver connector.
This step is for a Digizuite consultant, so if you are an Episerver developer, you can skip this page.
Configuration Management
Skip this step if it’s an upgrade from the previous version of the DAM.
Add the configuration template DFO Versions → 5.8.0 v.4.
This will add the following configuration:
Member group: Optimizely→ DFO System
Member: Optimizely→ DFO System, It is important that you change the password. It should be used in this section DFO 4.0.0 - 3 Setting up Optimizely
Channels: Optimizely→ Content, The DFO System member group has read access to the Optimizely channel.
The DFO System member group has read access to the following metafields: Title, Description, folders and Cropname.
Digizuite Deployment Manager
Add a new portal for the Episerver connector.
The reason why this is needed, is because we want to control the option Root channel folder of MM's content and Unique channel ID.
We want the channel folder to point at the Episerver channel.
And also control the upload channel id, so we can setup automations that can auto publish to the Episerver channel.
Remember to hit the Deploy Environment button once you have created the new portal, otherwise it wont show up in the Media Manager.
Portal config manager
You should now see the newly created portal under the Portal config manager.
Locate the configuration parameter Root channel folder of MM's content and set it to point at the Episerver channel.
Then find the Unique channel ID and set it to for instance episerver, what you type in here is up to you. Just remember it when you setup automations.
