DC 5.7 AD: Requirements

In order to make AD work, all you need is for the machine with the IIS installed, to be a member of the domain.

However, as users aren’t automatically created when you log in, as in other single sign-on authentication methods, most will likely also want to go a bit further and set up automatic synchronization of users from the AD to the DAM Center.

For this, you need to have an AD user set up with these properties:

  • Never expire

  • Never get prompted for changing its password

  • Permissions

    • List content.

    • Read permissions

    • Read all properties
