The Digizuite Media Library is an embedde version of Digizuite™ Media Manager, which is loaded in an IFrame. In this guide we will describe the general use of the tool. You find a more detailed description here MM5.7 Use of the product.

2.1 Tour of the Digizuite Media Library

The is the main desktop view. At the left side you have the filters, which are configuable. The primary area on the right-hand contain a list of assets.

If you click an asset a preview is shown.

 

The Asset Browser Preview is a detailed view of the Asset, which shows additional information about the asset. From here you can inspect and edit metadata. Download and crop the asset.

2.2 Insert Asset

As an Sitecore editor you have 2 options how to insert an asset.

  1. Click the 3 dots and select Insert asset. Then select the quality you want to insert.

     

     

  2. One click insert will insert the source quality.

Multiselect

When using the field type Assetlist, then you have the option to multiselect assets.

 

2.3 Using crops

If the asset has crop variants, then you can insert then like this. Click the 3 dots, ths menu Crop, will tell if it has crops.

 

2.4 Asset in use

With this feature you can see if an asset has ben used in any content page in Sitecore. Go to the detailed preview page of the asset and click the tab Sitecore pages. If the asset is used on any pages in Sitecore, they would be listed here. You can click the button in the action column and go to the specific page.
