A centralized DAM system may grow in size over time and the danger of a big system is that things get lost in it. DAM for Sitecore (and the Digizuite™ DAM underneath) is delivered with a strong metadata structure to ensure that everything can be found.
It is important to tag the assets carefully with proper and usable metadata when uploading new assets. If the metadata needs reviewing, then this can be done from DAM for Sitecore using the Metadata editor.
Metadata can be accessed from the metadata editor in the detailed preview.
Metadata in Digizuite™ DAM is organized into groups of data, allowing focus on specific areas. Metadata is always configured to match the specific needs of any organization, which means the metadata fields seen in these screen shots may be different from other organizations' metadata.
Just like in standard Sitecore, sections may collapse for a better overview.
