4 Digizuite™ Media Manager Versioning - MM v4.12.0

The DAM Center (DC) enables the opportunity of creating multiple Media Manager (MM) versions through the Config Manager. Usually, however, you'll only have one version corresponding to your one MM.

4.1 Create a new MM Config Manager version

To create a new version, you'll have to access your DC.

In your DC, navigate to System tools → ConfigManager → Digizuite™ Media Manager → 4.0.0 (Aka. "The root version")

While standing in the root of the MM's ConfigManager (that is "4.0.0"), look to the upper right corner where a button says "Create new version".

To the left of the button, there's a text field. In this, write a title of the version. if you only plan to have one version, best practice is to name it "Default" (See image below).

Press the "Create new version" button.

You'll now see the new Config Manager version beneath the root of the MM's config manager (4.0.0).

4.2 Connect the new Config Manager version with your MM

While being in the new version you've created, find the button named "Menu" in to upper right corner.

Press on the button and select Version information.

Make a note of the Version ID (see image below)

Now, access your MM's web.config file.

In here, by default, there's a section named <add key="ConfigVersionId" value="!/1/0/" />.

Change the value if it does not correspond to the value you've just noted down. Remember to keep the !, as it's important to make sure that the MM will work correctly. (Without this, setting the splash screen from within MM will not work.
