Users can compare assets by marking the preferred ones (click on the grey checkmarks that appear when hovering over an asset). When assets are marked, the multiselect menu appears next the free text search bar. Choose "Compare", and a pop-up window with the selected assets will appear.

There are three methods of comparing assets:

  1. Side by side comparison.
  2. Content comparison.
  3. Metadata comparison.

The user can choose between these methods in the drop-down bar on top right corner of the pop-up window. It is also possible to see the number of assets selected on the top left corner.

Side by side comparison

This method can only be used on comparison of two assets. The selected assets are placed on top of one another, and using the comparison slider, it is possible to compare the assets side by side.

Metadata comparison

With this method it is easy to compare metadata of more assets simultaneously. The selected assets are displayed on top of the pop-up window with belonging metadata fields on the bottom.
It is possible to deselect the unwanted assets by clicking on the green checkmark placed on the top left corner of each asset.

The user can add more assets to compare by clicking "Add more assets" on the left side. This will redirect you to the startpage, where the wanted assets can be marked, and then click "compare assets" on the bottom right corner.

On the top right corner there is a drop-down bar with three options.
