Digizuite™ DAM for Episerver is installed as a normal nuget package onto the Episerver site project/solution. It is available through https://nuget.episerver.com/package/?id=Digizuite.Episerver.

  1. Open NuGet package manager in for your Episerver project in Visual Studio.
  2. The package is in the Nuget.org feed. If you don't have it installed in your Visual Studio, connection details can be found here and added in Package Manager Settings in Visual Studio.
  3. Either "Browse" or search for "Digizuite.Episerver"
  4. Install the package. A readme file with further installation notes should appear.
  5. The package consists of multiple parts: Binary assemblies installed in the bin folder, various module and package files installed under /modules/_protected/Digizuite and finally a group of configuration settings added in web.config.
  6. By default it's configured to use a shared DAM Center, which you only have read access to. If you want to get a feeling for some of the value Digizuite™ DAM for Episerver can add to your solution feel free to try it out like this.
  7. (Optional) On the other hand - if you want to use it with your own DAM Center, then you must have a Digizuite DAM Center with Dam For Episerver installed on it. Please contact a Digizuite consultant to do this. The configuration in web.config also needs to be modified (see DFE 2.3.0 - 3 Setting up Episerver) to connect to another DAM. If you are interested in purchasing a cloud or local DAM Center, contact Digizuite through www.damforepiserver.com.
  8. Launch your solution.
