Installation

The Adobe Creative Cloud connector is now installed as part of the Media Manager installation.

When the Media Manager is installed, the Adobe Creative Cloud connector can be accessed by entering the Media Manager URL (PROTOCOL://MM-SITE/).

Adobe Exchange

You can now install the Adobe Creative Cloud connector from Adobe Exchange.

The new plugin is called “Digizuite™ Connector for Adobe Creative Cloud” and supports version 5.8.0 and above

To install the Adobe Creative Cloud connector with version 5.6.0, you will need a Media Manager 5.6.0 and you will have to manually install the zxp file and NOT use the Adobe Exchange.

The old plugin “Digizuite™ Connector” will only support up to version 5.5.5

MacOS using M1 Chip

If you are using a MacOS with an M1 chip instead of an Intel, then you will notice changes in the Adobe products where a few things are missing, e.g., in the latest version of Photoshop, there is no “Extensions” section under the Windows Menu from where you can access your plugins and panels. This is now replaced by a drop-down menu labeled “plugins.”

This new update creates the issue where you cannot access the Digizuite Creative Cloud Connector plug-in out of the box.

To fix the issue, please follow the described steps below:

  1. Open the applications folder in your M1 Mac

  2. Open the specific application folder e.g., Photoshop

  3. Right-click the application and select “Get info”

  4. Then click on the option that reads “Open using Rosetta.”

Broken Cache

After the upgrade from 5.7 to 5.8, you can experience the following UI seen below.

If you encounter this error, then the way to resolve this is to delete your cache folder.

The default cache location can be found under Documents → digizuite_files.

If you have changed your cache location, then you can locate the location from the digizuite_preferences.json located at Documents → digizuite_files → digizuite_preferences.json
