This describes the process of Configuring the DigiBatch engine. Configuring the DigiBatch system is a process that can only be done once the Digizuite™ DAM Center has been successfully installed. If the DigiBatch engine is not installed, the Digizuite will not function as intended.

Note: This step needs to be performed on all Batch Server

5.1 Create Batch Instances

Start the application Configure DigiBatch:

Select the Services tab:

Press Add:

Create DigiBatch Instances:

  1. Fill Instance name - needs to be unique for the JobDatabase
  2. Click Add (repeat 1-2)
  3. Select service Log On type.
  4. Fill Account Name - this corresponds to the System User in DAM Configuration.
  5. Fill Password
  6. Confirm Password
  7. Press OK


5.2 Configure Database Connection for DAM database

Select the Connections tab page:

Press Edit Connection:

Fill DAM Database Connection information:

  1. SQL Server Name
  2. Select Use a specific username and password for SQL login method.
  3. Fill SQL credentials
  4. Select Allow saving password
  5. Select the DAM database - the database name ends with "_dam"
  6. Press OK


Note: The databases are created by the DAM Center installer.

5.3 Configure Database Connection for DAM_Jobs database

Press Edit Connection

Fill Dam_Jobs Database Connection information:

  1. SQL Server Name
  2. Select "Use a specific username and password" for SQL Login Method.
  3. Fill SQL Credentials
  4. select Allow saving password
  5. select the DAM_Jobs database - database name ends with "_dam_jobs"
  6. Press "OK"

5.4 Add Job Database to Active JobEngines


  • Select the Job database
  • Press Add to JobEngines
  • Select the Active JobEngines tab page

  • Select the Job Database Handle
  • Select the Batch Instances
  • Press Enroll
  • Press Start All
  • Press OK
