Editing the site config file
Open the folder <WebsiteFolder>, locate the file siteConfig.xml and open it in a text editor and change the following:
- Key WebServiceUrl, change the [DAM URL], to point at the Digizuite™ DAM Center installation.
- Key Username and Password under the tag login. These are login, for the user who should login to Digizuite™ Insights. This is not a Digizuite™ DAM Center member, hence you will not be able to use your previously configured users for Insights. It's case sensitive, meaning that there's a difference between the use of big and small letters.
- Key Username and Password under the tag accesskey. Add the system user of Digizuite™ DAM Center. Remember the password should be the MD5 hash key, which can be found in the Database under the table named "member".
How to insert customer name, which will make entries appear
Key CustomerName, can be found in the database, under the tabel DamStat_Customer. If the table is empty, you have to create a new entry.
Set the CustomerId to 1 and set a Customer_name to any name you want. From Digizuite™ DAM Center 4.7.0 the customer name is set to default. (Please see the image below)
After these configurations, you should be able to login the the application and start using it. Of course entries in Insights will only be visible, when the system has logged data.
This can be done either by: 1. Logging into the DC/MM/VP or 2. downloading assets from these respective sites.
Making source files visible in the Insights
In order for Insights to show you downloads for original source files, you will need to edit a table in the database named "DamStat_Target_Media_Format".
From here you will have to insert the following entry:
Where "Original" is a word you choose in order for communicating that it's source files that have been downloaded. You may choose another name for it, if you prefer.
