The Digizuite DAM Center installer requires that there are no other Digizuite products installed on the server before starting the installation process.

4. After the installation is done, a server restart is required.
Run windows update on the machine to ensure everything is up to date.

1.6 Domain users
The Digizuite™ setup needs two domain users, "assetstream" and "digibatch". Both users must be system-users, meaning that their passwords must never expire. If it is not possible to create domain users, then create local users with same names and same passwords across the WEB server, the BATCH server and the STORAGE server. Their usernames must not include characters that break XML syntax (",',<,>,&).
Storage stream user (Installer defaults to username "assetstream")
Read (NOT write) rights to everything in storage folder
Write/share rights to the following folders (The folders only exists after installation):

Performance Monitor Users (Without it the installer will not fail, but certain asset conversion jobs will)
To add the users to groups, do the following steps
1. Open the program Computer Management
2. Expand Local Users and Groups and select Groups.
3. Right click the groups and press Properties
4. Press Add, and type in the username digibatch
5. Press Check Names and then OK, and OK again
6. Repeat for the other group as well.
