Although Sitecore Media Library still exists in Sitecore, Digizuite™ DAM for Sitecore should be seen as a replacement for Sitecore Media Library.
What's new in Digizuite™ DAM for Sitecore v8.0
Digizuite™ DAM for Sitecore is now an integrated module that utilizes SPEAK to give a full experience of DAM being a part of Sitecore.
In this version, we have redesigned the way to think of DAM integration between Digizuite™ DAM and Sitecore, which means we now have the following sub-modules as part of our module:
