General
It’s important to read the notice below.
From 5.6.0 and if you have Media Manager 5.6.0, you will have to manually install the zxp file and NOT use the Adobe Exchange. The reason is breaking changes in 5.6.0 which will break prior versions.
MacOS using M1 Chip
If you are using a MacOS with a M1 chip instead of an Intel then you will notice changes in the Adobe products where a few things are missing e.g. in the latest version of Photoshop there is no “Extensions” section under the Windows Menu from where you can access your plugins and panels. This is now replaced by a drop-down menu labeled “plugins.”
This new update creates the issue where you cannot access the Digizuite Creative Cloud Connector plug-in out of the box.
To fix the issue, please follow the descripted steps below:
Open the applications folder in your M1 Mac
Open the specific application folder e.g. Photoshop
Right-click the application and select “Get info”
Then click on the option that reads “Open using Rosetta”
Asset is outdated
We have a known issue for some 5.4 installations where the asset is shown as 'Asset is Outdated' in the link manager, even though this is not the case and the asset has just been added.
It is related to two search which do not properly contain hashsha1 which is used for comparison. This is because of the searches having been updated many times with custom fields and therefore the CCC scripts can in some instances not automatically merge them (due to the custom changes).
The issue will show itself like this:
Please contact Service Delivery or R&D in such an instance. But essentially, if you have a lot of manual changes for the search, then this is most likely the reason and then we need to add it to the most recent. Therefore please contact SD or R&D (running and populating search indexes is required).
Proxy sites
When using a CCC proxy site then the following issues exist:
Third-party licenses cannot be seen.
Sharing collections will link to the proxy site, hence it will not work.
After Effects
Link Manager
When files are imported from the CCC, then they are imported as FootageItem.
Files inside a Composition or a Folder will not be displayed inside the link manager.
Premiere Pro

In Premiere Pro the sidebar menu has to be closed after saving, for it to enable using the link manager and upload.
