(DC) Add new filter option

  1. Go to System tools → ConfigManager → Digizuite™ DAM Center → 4.0.0 → [Newest version]
  2. Press Searches and then GetAssets
  3. Be in the tab named "Input" (default)
  4. Press "Add"
  5. (Usually) Press "Table and column". In table usually input "asset", and in column choose your value.
  6. Choose comparison type (Oftentimes it's AllInList)
  7. Choose input type (Oftentimes multicombo)
  8. Change the ID to be sX - where X is whatever you choose to name it.
  9. (Optional) Copy the ID to make it easier to create a label in the upcoming steps.
  10. Wing off the "Should this filter be visible in the UI?" - not having this, will make it not appear in the DC
  11. Press "Create"
  12. Press "Save" for the search (Not the entry)

  13. Press Labels

  14. Press Filters

  15. Press "Add label"
  16. In the new entry that appears, add the ID (sX), from before, in the "Constant" and in the "Label" input the text you want it to have in your currently chosen language (If nothing else is shown, you're most likely editing English) Remember to give a Label text for each language.
  17. Press somewhere else on the page, for the "Save" button to be enabled
  18. Press "Save"
  19. Press "OK"

  20. (Sometimes necessary) Recycle of DC through the IIS (Failing to do this, will result in your changes not being applied) - Sometimes you only need to refresh the page.
  21. In the top right corner, do a search in the field named "Search in catalog". After having searched, a combobox has appeared, named "Add filter". Pressing this, should reveal your new filter option.
  22. I you've for example added keyword (Metafield group:Asset info / metadat field: Keywords / Comparison:Equals / input type:String / filter visible: Yes) you can add a keyword to an asset, and then save it. You can now use the keywords to filter the search.
