A problem has been identified in version 2301: February 14 Version 2301 (Build 16026.20200) of Office 365, where Word documents can be opened but cannot be edited, as shown in the attached image:
It is possible that not all users working with the Office Connector and Word documents in this version of Office 365 are affected by this issue.
To resolve this problem, you can save the Word document opened from the Office Connector to your local machine, make the necessary changes, and then upload it again. If the title of the Word document matches the title of the document uploaded to the DAM, the duplicate detection will recognize it, and you can overwrite the previous version with the changes. If not, you will have to manually delete the previous document from the asset list.
