The other very important concept of Digizuite is Metadata. For more information on Metadata we refer to the general documentation on the subject.
This section describes how to work with Metadata and the general fetch, update and create methods available for metadata.
Notice how this section is working with the definition of the metadata and not the actual values for the assets. The values for the assets are described in the Working with assets section.
Generally integrations should only work with tree and combo metadata definition and not simple type definitions. The latter are considered a one-time thing to create and we refer to Configuration Management for managing this configuration.
For this reason, the metadata definitions API for the simple types is not document. We refer to the Swagger documentation for more information.
