The Digizuite Extension for Optimizely Experimentation consists of two elements (both found in our public github examples here https://github. com/Digizuite/embedded-ui-examples ). Not both elements are needed but together they can bring a better experience.

Note

Remember that we need to have a CDN to not hit the DAM when fetching assets.

Prerequisites

Following must be in place:

  • CDN:
    This functionality should be used in conjunction with a CDN since we are talking about potential high consumption from the website.

  • Public Destination for assets to be streamed from (out of box 10016 is used but you must add a profile)

  • (have in mind that for crop to work then it requires 5.6.0 but rest of the functionality will still be valdivalid)

A simple example of how to enable Digizuite Images using the Digizuite Browser Extension to c/p the asset id (could also do manually)

Important is perform one change before performing step 4 in the above guide and after having downloaded the files.

Adding the Public destination

Ensure that you either use an existing profile which publishes to a public destination or then create on for this purpose:

Then ensure that it is added under 'Profiles and destinations' for the Config Manager:

Simply click on the asset to make it update as shown in the above videos (otherwise, one can configure it to copy and paste the ID where you then manually copy it in the asset id input)
