Breaking Changes: Going from 2.1 to CCC +5.5
Below, you can learn in more detail about the changes from version 2.1 to version +5.5 and the value these changes bring the users.
From external to internal
Up until now, we co-operated with an external agency in order to bring the product to our customers. While this approach had its distinct advantages, the process of developing the product, maintaining it, and improving it over time took more time than we were comfortable with. Therefore, the decision was made to re-take the control over the product and develop it anew in-house.
Thanks to this, we have achieved the following benefits:
The connector is now more stable thanks to the internal control over the entire process, from the concept to the quality assurance.
We have full ownership over the shape of the connector and thus can be more responsive to the incoming feedback.
We have experts with full knowledge of the product at hand, ready to assist with the raised issues and answer the questions.
Extended support
We now support a wider palette of products within the Adobe Creative Suite:

Brand consistency
When developing the product in-house, we now have greater control over the Digizuite brand. Thanks to this, we can provide our users with a seamless experience when working with our Adobe connector, as the product re-uses the familiar elements of the ecosystem and, therefore, makes the UI consistent across the board.
As the users encounter the well-known look when opening the connector, their work with it can be more intuitive.
