The standard configuration includes four Sitecore roles:
- sitecore\Digizuite DAM for Sitecore Explorer Access
- sitecore\Digizuite DAM for Sitecore Users
- sitecore\Digizuite DAM for Sitecore Editors
- sitecore\Digizuite DAM for Sitecore Administrators
For more information about these roles, see the section about security
Grant minimum access for anonymous user
The anonymous user, used to access web, needs to have read access to assets in order to see them. To do this, add the role: sitecore\Digizuite DAM for Sitecore Users.
This ensures that assets can be seen in web context.
Grant access for users
Any user that needs access to assets, needs to have a DAM for Sitecore role assigned according to them, this determines their level off access.
Grant administrator users access
Even though having an admin user grants access to everything, all metadata is owned by the Digizuite. This means that in order to edit metadata, the administrator users needs to be assigned a role which can edit assetsaccess level.
