Asset

overview

The assets are availble in the grid view, i.e. as a gallery of asset cards. Each asset card contains current version of the Creative Cloud Connector supports grid view (as presented on the screenshot below), which acts in the same way as in the Media Manager™, i.e. it offers the users an overview through asset cards.

The asset cards all contain the following information:

  • Asset thumbnail

    ,

  • Asset extension

    ,

  • Title

    ,

    Description,

  • Shortened description

  • The

    "Use" button leading to the selection of quality.

  • Insert button which allows for using the asset in the working space of the currently use Creative Connector product

  • The lock which indicates whether the asset is checked in or out. The green lock icon in an open position means that the asset is not checked out, and it can be clicked in order to check the asset out.

The connector uses pagination to display the available assets. The asset overview always shows 12 assets per page/query.

The page navigation can be found at the bottom on the page.

The user can move between pages either by using pressing the arrows or by clicking on to go to an adjacent page, selecting a visible page number and by pressing the three dots and selecting a specific page that should be displayedto jump to.

Previewing an asset

It is possible to access a larger preview of the asset together with limited asset information an asset’s preview page by clicking on the asset onceit. This will activate the asset preview with gives the user a larger preview of the asset thumbnail, as well as a number of metadata fields in read-only mode.

It is possible to use the asset from the preview by clicking "Use" under the asset and then selecting the quality in which the image/video should be inserted into the working area.

To go back to asset list, simply click on the back arrow.

By clicking the Use button beneath the thumbnail and selecting a quality, the user can insert the asset into an open document.

The lock button indicates whether the assets is checked out or free to be used. If it is checked out by another user, then the current use can hover the mouse pointer over the lock icon and access the details of the check-out.

In order to go back to the asset overview, the user can simply click on the arrow in the upper left corner.
