From Sitecore 8.0 Update 7 and downwards, the dfs_assets_web_index update strategy has to be changed to something else, as the one used in the standard configuration does not exist in these versions. See documentation for more information |
1.2 Requirements
- Before installing the package, ensure the user that is installing has modify access to the following folders and files in the Sitecore web root:
- \App_Config\include
- \App_Data\
- \bin\
- \sitecore\shell\client
- \Sitecore modules\shell\
- DAM for Sitecore 9.0.0 requires that Digizuite™ DAM is on version 4.9.0 or newer and that it is configured with a Sitecore channel. See guide DFS 9.0.0 - Setting up the Digizuite DAM Center.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 or newer. , should be installed on the same machine as Sitecore instance is running on.
- If you use Telerik RTE and/or reference the Telerik.Web.Ui dll in any of the Sitecore site, then contact Digizuite for a custom build of the DAM For Sitecore package.

DAM for Sitecore 9.0.0 supports on premise deployment. We expect it to also work on Azure PaaS, but it hasn’t been tested.
