New automation engine
...
With this feature, the user can build custom automation flows that automates repetitive work. There are the following terminologies:
1. Triggers: A trigger defines the start of the workflow and there can be more than one trigger, i.e. possibly multiple entry points to the workflow. A trigger can be one of the many events in the solution, such as an asset being uploaded, metadata being changed or on a timer interval.
2. Filters: Filters are used to narrow down possibilities and ensure the action is taken only for the desired case and multiple filters can be applied. A possible filter could be for example validating that a certain value is selected in a combo, or validating the user provided value against a RegEx, or even validating the date against a predefined date.
3. Actions: Actions are automated work steps that the system can perform and there can be more than one action in the workflow. Actions that can be taken range from publishing or unpublishing assets to setting access rights and executing searches.

Groups in groups
...
With this feature user groups can now be members of other user groups. The right managament becomes faster and easier, as a set of roles can now be assigned only once instead of individually for each subgroup of users.
Support for preview on more filetypes
...
With this feature there is now support for thumbnails and previews on many more filetypes. This includes:
· PowerPoint
· Word
· Excel
· CAD files
Fully delete an asset
...
There are now 2 types of deliting assets in the DAM Center. Apart from the standard deletion, with this new feature assets are fully deleted from the system, including the physical files. This helps companies meet GDPR policies.
Optimized video transcoding
Video transcoding has been optimized substantially, thereby decreasing the time for a video to be ready for use. The transcode time has been decreased by half.

Monitoring dashboard
...
We introduce DigiBoard - a monitoring dashboard from Grafana that will assist the administrators with having overview of the system health and detecting possible problems early. It will also be a first place to check when something doesn’t work as intended, making troubleshooting easier.
The following information can be accessed through DigiBoard:
Information about the server (e.g. memory usage, CPU)
RabbitMQ monitoring (e.g. error queues, delay queues
Debouncing messages
While the dashboard available out-of-the-box is not customizable, it is possible to add new dashboards. It is also possible to configure alerts and notifications.
Performance and stability
...
ItemSecurity was further enhanced in DAM Center 5.4. Thanks to to this the performance of the system was significantly improved.
Re-write of Digibatch
...
One of the major tasks for the release 5.4 was re-writing Digibatch in order to allow more effective maintenance of the underlying code in the future. As a result the speed of the system was roughly doubled.
Another important change is that the status of jobs is now available from Media Manager instead of DAM Center. This increases the accessibility of jobs in the system as the administrator no longer needs to switch to another interface. DidiBatch status can be found under the Settings menu. The following information concerning each job is available:
Which asset it concerns
Job name
Who started the job
Current status
When it was started and finished
